Feasibility Study Success!

🎯 Our Integrated Energy System (IES) is super efficient!

We're thrilled to announce that Kionnali Living Systems has successfully completed a feasibility study for our Integrated Energy System (IES), thanks to an Interface grant. Conducted by the University of Aberdeen, the study revealed that our IES system could achieve negative lifetime emissions at a competitive price point, all while being completely off-grid. This milestone is a testament to the power of collaborative research and sustainable innovation.

📊 The Study's Focus

The study was not just a tick-box exercise; it was a comprehensive assessment that delved deep into the nitty-gritty of energy management. The focus was on evaluating the system's efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and environmental impact. The results were nothing short of promising, confirming that our IES system is not only feasible but also revolutionary in its approach to energy management.

🤝 Interface: The Catalyst for Innovation

Interface is an organization that connects businesses with academia to solve real-world problems. Their grants have been instrumental in fostering innovation across various sectors. For Kionnali, the Interface grant served as a catalyst, enabling us to collaborate with the University of Aberdeen and bring our vision for the IES system closer to reality.

🌍 Sustainability Meets Efficiency

One of the most exciting outcomes of the study was the system's potential for negative lifetime emissions. This aligns perfectly with our mission to redefine construction practices by offering solutions that are not only efficient but also kind to our planet.

🛠 Next Steps

With the feasibility study complete and the results validating our approach, the next phase involves refining the IES system based on the data collected. We are in the running for a grant that would allow us to move to the next phase of R&D: building a prototype!

🎉 Wrapping Up

The Interface grant and the subsequent feasibility study have been monumental steps forward for Kionnali and our IES system. We're incredibly grateful for the support and excited about the positive impact this project will have on sustainable living.
