What does the investment process look like?
Step One: Contact us for the link to our "coming soon" page and sign up using the "priority access" button. At this stage, no funds are required.

What stage is Kionnali currently in?
We are currently in the process of setting up our first production line and working on building out our pilot project.
Why should I consider alternatives to real estate investments?
One in every three American houses is at severe risk of being impacted by a climate disaster, with every house at exposure risk. In 2021, one in ten homes (15 million) were affected by a disaster, costing homeowners $56.92 billion in property damage, which has strained insurance companies unprepared for such events. Insurance premiums for most Americans increased by 12% in 2021, with some areas, especially wildfire zones, unable to get insurance or being dropped mid-coverage due to high risk. Flood insurance has risen from an average of $700-$800 to $4,000-$5,000, an increase of roughly 600%​​​​​​.

Globally, the number of billion-dollar disasters has also been increasing, with 2023 setting a record of 63 billion-dollar weather disasters, surpassing the previous record of 57 set in 2020. The economic losses from natural disasters in 2023 reached $380 billion, with only 1/3rd covered by insurance.

This trend underscores the escalating costs associated with natural disasters worldwide​​​​.

At Kionnali, we have designed buildings that can be used as homes, factories, community spaces, and more, and are specifically designed to retain their value and protect their inhabitants. This has been done in two ways: first, by considering the increase in climate disasters in our designs and taking measures to defend against minor disasters and evacuate from major ones; second, by creating modular structures that can be upgraded at any point, with the old tech retaining value in its materials.

How do we protect your investment from disasters?
On top of including features that protect against disasters in all of our homes, communities, and regenerative microfactories, we have also included easy evacuation features for every asset. That means that in contrast to traditional real estate investments, we have greatly reduced the chance of losing our microfactories in a flood, storm, subsiding area, wildfire, earthquake, etc. We have also created a simple but robust supply chain plan, using modular systems, small nodal factories, material agnostic design which utilizes local materials, and future vertical integration.
